Leather Factory workers
About this job
Factory labourers are required for work at a local leather manufacturing business, working the day shift, Monday to Friday. The roles are in the fleshing, loading and Sammying departments ( Sammying : is removing water from wet hides by forcing it though metal rollers). Job involves preparing, treating and finishing leather using chemical processes. Applicants must be physically fit and be able to do repetitive tasks. You will also need to be able to pass a drug test. You will need to be able to work some Saturdays as part of the job requirements. The positions are on the afternoon shift - Monday to Friday starting at 3.25pm. Will require an up to date CV with checkable referees .
