Food/Supplement Production Staff

Food and supplement factory in Kumeu and Hobsonville is looking for Food/Supplement Production Staff who are experienced in manufacturing and packing protein powders and associated products.

Reporting in to the Production Operations Manager, literacy, a strong understanding of quality assurance, experience in form/fill/seal, sachet/pouch packaging and capsule formats will be an advantage.

Employee Responsibilities:

-Operate manufacturing machinery. -Perform quality checks and production documentation. -Tidy workplace and machine setup when product changes to different setups. -Ensure maintenance of equipment is up to date and addressed when needed. -Record machine breakdown and good communication with the team. -Ensure safe work practices are adhered to at all times. -Ensure product safety at all times. -Perform activities such as cleaning the machine.

-Experience in production line operations, preferably in an rotary packing machine -Check weigher and sachet packing machines -Weighing raw materials to spec and blending using ribbon or V blenders -Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures meticulously -Basic understanding of engineering principles related to automated systems -Proficiency in quality control processes and procedures -Excellent communication and teamwork skills -Able to pass MOJ.
