Senior Cellar Hand
About this job
Overseeing cellar workers in their areas during the vintage period, following company systems & procedures, and bring any issues that might decrease the quality of wine production to the attention of the Cellar Manager and Winemaking team. Demonstrate a commitment to Health and Safety at work when undertaking work or observing others in the workplace and proactively report any concerns promptly and ensure all H&S requirements are met. Complete all winery procedures including but limited to; grape receival, floatation, filtration, fermentation management, general cellar work in a safe, efficient manner within agreed time frames to documented quality standards as directed by the company’s winemakers. Perform all winery duties in accordance with detailed SOPs for the safe, effective operation and maintenance of all Vinlink plant. Provide leadership, direction & training to junior cellar team members & seasonal workers when required with clear & effective communication with SOPs.

Current forklift, Confined Space and First Aid Certification
- Days of work
- Monday to Friday 7:30 - 4pm outside of Vintage, 7 days a week during March - May 74hrs a week, 12 hour days 6 days a week (40 hours per week)
