Store Assistant
About this job
A local employer is looking for a Store Assistant ASAP to work both in the yard and office to dispose of old chemicals and out of date products from a range of manufactures
In the office you will be required to record data in store computer system of the stock once it comes in and goes out In the yard you will be required to assist with receiving, unpacking and arranging new shipments of product from suppliers and vendors Some heavy lifting is required
Previous stores experience will be advantage and Worksafe knowledge/ DG handling experience will also be advantage but training is provided for the right person
A forklift licence is also required but for the right person training and licence will be provided Looking for someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills for this role- someone who is a team player This role is located out at Pyes Pa- no bus service is available so own transport and a min of a Restricted licence is required Contact phil.hurn001@msd.govt.nz for more information
Job Requirements
Must have at least Class 1 Restricted Driver Licence & Reliable Transportation Must pass Drug and Alcohol Test Must pass Ministry of Justice check
