Kiwifruit Team leader Position

Lead a team of workers to achieve the set targets of the business. Manage daily field operations of the business. Complete employees time records and preparing time sheets. Give inductions to new supervisors, new staff and giving training of emergency sign off. Report to the manager on the progress of the orchard operations. Provide strong leadership, managing, mentoring and support to a large and diverse team. Supervise staff and carry out the soil preparation activities and suggest ensuring that the latest methods are utilised. Attend health & safety meetings. Visit the worksites within the area from time to time to ensure standards of work comply with both employers as well as grower’s expectations. Keep company records confidential and protect the company brand name in the market. Handle employees’ complaints in an ethical manner. Any other task given by the director/manager when required. Ensure compliance of health and safety regulations.
