Senior Cage Cashier

As a Senior Cashier, you will provide efficient customer care and service delivery with the processing of cage customer transactions. Being a senior in the team, you'll lead by example, provide high level service, and support the operational performance of the Cage Cashiers. Additionally, you'll be responsible for: Performing cashiering functions whilst adhering to all compliance requirements Safeguarding Cage assets and reconciling accountability Preparing deposits for cash and cash equivalents Assisting in rostering of Cage Cashiers and monitoring transactions Actively participating in Cage Cashiering Operations to optimise efficiency Coaching and mentoring staff, promoting a high-performance team environment Ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies

You'll be a professional Cage Cashier with proven experience working within a casino operation. Due to the high levels of compliance involved in this position, you'll be well adept working alongside strict policy and procedure frameworks as well as familiarity with NZ Anti-Money Laundering laws. Naturally you'll have great numeracy skills along with excellent communication and relationship building abilities. You'll have prior experience mentoring, coaching, and training others, as well as rostering and operational resource allocation. Experience as a Cashier within a casino environment Ability to work across a 24/7 operation on a rotating roster Be over 20 years of age Have a clear police record and credit for the purpose of obtaining a Gaming licence.
