Lauriston Solar Farm Project (near Ashburton) A great opportunity has been offered for a team of people to assist in the installation of Solar Panels in the Mid Canterbury Area. Contract/Temporary work of 3 to 6 months. On the job training is provided around - Erecting and mounting frames and solar panels - Lifting, relocating and restocking of materials, along with basic assembly - General site cleaning and labouring duties, including using hand and power tools - This role has physical lifting tasks requiring manual handling - A meticulous eye for detail is required - Random Drug and Alcohol testing is completed on site - Candidates with minor/historical convictions on a case-by-case basis.

Job Requirements

- Previous outdoor labouring experience, including the use of hand and power tools - Foundation Passport - Building Construction (MSD can assist with this) - Be willing and capable of undertaking manual handling tasks. - Demonstrates proactive teamwork abilities. - Capable of adhering to instructions, safety protocols, and system processes. - Open to acquiring new skills and undertaking various responsibilities. - Successfully complete a pre-employment mobility/fitness assessment - Successfully complete a drug and alcohol screening

Mon to Fri: 7.00am to 5.30pm Sat 7.00am to 1.00pm (57 hours per week)
