Retail Store Assistant

We are looking to employ a suitable candidate who has a passion to work in the retail industry working with our team in our Superette/retail based in Pokeno. We are looking for a reliable person prepared to work on the rostered hours of our seven-day operation. Hours of work: Minimum 30 – Maximum 40 (rostered shifts) must be prepared to work in the early hrs. Key responsibilities: Taking instructions from the Manager / Owner. Assist manager in stock taking and ordering supplies. Assist manager in receiving stock. Some heavy lifting is required since loading and unloading of stock. Updating stock register. Customer services/handling cash transactions Ensure the business follows all the health and safety policies and compliance regulations. Must be able to balance cash register Must be in good health. Delivery of stock to customers.

required to attend early morning, afternoon and late evening shifts. Shifts will look like 0600-0900, 1200-1400, 1700-2000 over various days on a 7 day period accumulating to the 30-40 hours per week, must be flexible and available for this.
