Dairy Farm Assistant
About this job
Paeroa employer looking for a farm assistant to join them on a full time basis. You will be required to carry out duties such as milking, identifying sickness in cattle, feeding out, operating tractor and trailer, grazing and pasture management, fencing, farm equipment maintenance, weed spraying and pest control, irrigation and effluent system management, calving and calf rearing, undertaking general farm duties as required by employer or farm manager.
Job Requirements
Previous experience in dairy farming/similar roles a bonus. Tertiary qualification - level 4 or 5. Must be comfortable with driving a tractor.
- Days of work
- Minimum 40 hours/wk. 12 on, 2 off roster. (40 hours per week)
