Plastics Manufacturing

Core duties include: • Daily operation of extruders, granulators and other machines as required to achieve production targets and product quality standards. • Operating allocated machinery efficiently, productively and in accordance with the Company’s operating procedures and health and safety policies and practices. • Undertaking plant and factory maintenance as directed by your supervisor. • Training junior staff on the use of machines. • Ensuring the factory is kept tidy and organised so production efficiency is maximised, and health and safety risks are minimised. • Recommending process and plant improvements that will lead to greater productivity. The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the Company.
