Restaurant Cashier
About this job
Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and thank them as they leave. Process guests' orders accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Accept payments in cash, credit, or other forms and provide accurate change. Answer guests' questions about menu items, pricing, and restaurant policies. Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and surrounding areas. Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth communication and order accuracy. Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed, such as seating guests during busy periods.
Job Requirements
No prior work experience is required for this role but could be an advantage. Training will be provided.
