About this job
Daily Duties; 1. Make and cook the dough for Roti Canai, Roti Tissue, Roti Boom, Chapati and Murtabak. 2. Make and cook Malaysian Curry and Sambal. 3. Ensure station meals are presented and garnished correctly. 4. Upkeep on inventory for roti station. 5. Adhere to Food handling and safety rules for the kitchen. 6. Clean the work station at the end of every shift. 7. Assist Head Chef with meal prep, sizing and portioning of raw materials. 8. Train workers in Malaysian cooking and presentation methods.
Job Requirements
1. Familiar with making ethnic Malaysian Dishes (Malay, Indian, and Chinese) 2. Familiar with tossing techniques of Malaysian Roti Canai dishes. 3. At least 2 years working experience in a Malaysian Restaurant or Eatery. 4. Able to converse with kitchen staff in Malay Language.
