Welder/Maintenance Person

Rolleston. Specialising in heavy machinery repairs, maintenance engineering, and bespoke truck decks. We are looking for a competent, confident and experienced welder and maintenance person to join our progressive engineering company to start in the new year. 3+ years’ experience in a Fabrication/Welding environment • TIG skills in both alloy and stainless steel would be a huge advantage • The ability to work on-site where required. • AS/NZS Welding Certificate or relevant trade certificate • Knowledge of all positions (MIG/TIG) welding processes • The ability to interpret plans and to more importantly, follow instructions
Job Requirements
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is expected • A great work ethic and be punctual • A strong commitment to Health & Safety • Be self-motivated and the ability to work independently is a must • Able to problem solve • Hold a full, clean drivers' licence • Able to pass drug/alcohol screenings • Either hold or able to pass welding tickets • Must have own hand tools and transport (to and from work)
