A Marlborough based Employer is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated seasonal workers to join their team for controlled pollination work in their radiata pine seed orchards starting in July.
Main Responsibilities: -Apply controlled pollination bags to Radiata pine trees. -Pollination of isolated/ controlled pine flowers. -Tree Pruning. -Maintain a clean and organised work environment. -General orchard duties as required.
Transport is provided from various pick up points.
If you enjoy working outdoors and are available for full time work over winter, the employer would like to hear from you! There could be the potential for extended employment for suitable candidates.
Job Requirements
-Fit and able bodied. -Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. -Able to work full 8hr days outdoors in winter conditions. -NZ Drivers licence is preferable. -Strong attention to detail. -Willingness to learn and follow instructions closely. -Must be comfortable working with hands and doing repetitive movements. -Previous experience in seasonal agriculture/ horticulture or related field is preferred.

- Monday to Friday. 07:30am to 4:00pm (40 hours per week)

- $26.00ph plus 8% Holiday pay
