Fabric Welding Technician
About this job
A Palmerston North family business who is a leading manufacturer of transport textile products, including side curtains, tarpaulins, roll over covers, thermal barriers as well as commercial and home products like shade sails, blinds and more, are requiring a Fabric Welding Technician who is keen to learn. Duties involve : -Air Welding fabric using a hot air welding system -Clear coating truck curtains -Repairing canvas products to a high standard -Undertake digital printing tasks -Ensure machinery and workspace are kept clean and tidy -Assist with other production tasks as required
Job Requirements
-Attention to detail to ensure work is undertaken to a high quality -Physically fit -Focused on getting the job done right and quickly -Have a steady hand and sharp eye -Versatile and prepared to work in different areas of production as needed -Willingness to learn -Able to work well in a team -Full Driver licence -Clean criminal record -Able to pass drug and alcohol test
