About this job
Daily cash reconciliation in spreadsheets and enter into Xero. Ensure Xero bank reconciliations are kept up to date for AR payments. Ensure banking variance spreadsheet is kept up to date and analyse the findings – implementing new systems to reduce margins. Collaborate with Venue managers and operations to ensure stock is being received and recorded in the correct manner. Create procedures for the correct recordings of wastage and hospo and monitor the levels that are being used. Manage and carry out fortnightly stocktakes across all venues – train any new staff on the procedures. Work with accounts/operations to ensure COG percentage expectations are being met, variances are investigated, and the appropriate action is taken to fix any problems. Send AR invoices daily and chase debtors if invoices are unpaid, call if necessary. Perform monthly till audits and bank pool table revenue. Drive to Frankton venue to manage the gaming revenue. Update Idealpos with any required changes
Job Requirements
• Previous experience working as an Inventory Controller within the Hospitality Sector • Be a sound and logical thinker that can implement theoretical ideas into practical solutions. • Have strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload. • Pride yourself on great attention to detail. • Proficient in the following systems: Xero, IdealPos, Loaded, Cooking the Books, Lightyear, Microsoft Excel • At least 3 years of experience within the Financial Services or Accountancy sector (references need to be provided) • A Full Driving License required. • A degree is desirable not essential
