Trainee Fencing Position

Trainee Fencing position Full time permanent position available in Kaeo and surrounding areas for Fencing and also gorse and weed spraying, and scrub barring. Looking for a person who is motivated, not afraid of hard work, who is not afraid to talk to farmers, who works well in a team, and who has a current full drivers licence. Must also be able to work independently, without supervision. No experience necessary, all training given.

Need someone who is hard working, must be solid enough to drag 200 meters of hose if necessary (and it can be hot heavy work), a team player, at least restricted drivers licence is necessary, Start ASAP. Job is doing Fencing spraying of gorse, and other farm weeds, all training given, all PPE gear (except boots) provided. The job can be quite varied at times, sometimes may be asked to work with the fencing crew, sometimes helping with track building, anything is possible. work is weather dependent, so if the weather is not good and can't work, so some weeks may not be 40 hours, some weeks may be more. Pay rate will go up after training and can get to a really good pay rate.
