Kitchen Assistant
About this job
Based in Lower Hutt. Washing and keeping the kitchen clean , dishwashing , moving, weighing and checking kitchen supplies and tools, preparing ingredients for cooking, making salads, snacks and savouries, assembling trays of food and drinks for serving. Peeling and cutting vegetables, meats, plucking poultry, skinning and gutting the fish. Cooking, toasting and warming up easy food items. Maintaining the cleanliness standard in both kitchen and chiller. Disposing of kitchen waste and rubbish.
Job Requirements
Ideally at least 6 months previous Kitchen experience. You will be keen and reliable and happy to be flexible with the duties required.
