A Downtown Kebab shop is seeking to hire 2 fast food cooks for their operation. Duties include Taking and serving food and beverage orders and receiving payment from customers; Prepare, wash, cut, measure and mix food to be cooked; Operating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves, deep dough roller, and deep fryers; Prepare and cook food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal directions; verify the quality and quantity of all orders; Multitask by cooking several different orders at once, ensuring that all items are prepared according to customer instructions; Maintain overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils; Ordering and taking delivery of fast-food ingredients; May arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages; Be dedicated to food quality and control; Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Job Requirements
Must be able to work rostered shifts. Experience in a kebab shop preferred
- Days of work
- Mon to Sun rostered 3 shifts; 9am to 5pm 5pm to 11pm and 11pm to 4.30am. Time and half rate for night shift (40 hours per week)
