2024 POOL LIFEGUARD PART-TIME POSITION We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team part-time at Hokitika Pool. You will have the opportunity to build great relationships with staff and customers, while also maintaining their safety in the water. As a Lifeguard you are responsible for: -the competent and professional supervision of our pools -ensuring health and safety standards and procedures are followed -completing water quality checks -maintaining outstanding presentation of our facilities -contributing to ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
Job Requirements
About You You'll be a natural when it comes to problem-solving and thinking on your feet and have the skills to communicate with a diverse range of customers. Previous experience as a lifeguard is an advantage but it's not essential as full training will be provided. You will need to show us that you: -can swim competently and can maintain a required level of swimming fitness -communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of people, -have the ability to be calm in pressured situations and respond quickly following standard procedures -are reliable, punctual and practical -are passionate about creating a fabulous customer experience for our community.
Due to the age requirements of the National Lifeguard Award, applications will only be considered from people aged 16 years or older.
