Fleet Manager
About this job
Manage the business operation in its entirety Actively undertake any purchasing of new fleet and negotiate pricing and terms Manage maintenance of vehicles, equipment and fuel Be the direct contact for orders, booking, planning and implantation of work schedules Liaise directly with all staff regarding any issues Liaise with customers regarding any enquiries they may have and take initiative to resolve any issues they may have Ensure deliveries reach customers on time Arrange collection and delivery of containers Liaise with ports, depot and storage facilities regarding work schedules, storage, loading and unloading Ensure all company documentation and records are handled with accuracy and care Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations Track shipping vessels and coordinating with port Negotiate transportation costs are rates as per market fluctuations
