An employer based in Wellington is looking for a Sushi Chef to join their team in the Wellington CBD.
In this role you will be preparing sushi rice and making sushi, chopping and slicing vegetables, cutting fresh fish and slicing to sushi specifications, placing orders with suppliers, ensuring stock levels are sufficient, cooking (eg. tempura), cleaning, providing excellent customer service and customising orders according to customers' preferences.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience. This is a fast paced role that will require someone who is able to work well under the pressure of lunch rush hours in Wellington CBD.

Job Requirements
Training will be provided, however, needing a minimum of 1 year experience as a sushi chef or background in Japanese/Asian cuisine - you'll be using both manual labour and machine for making sushi.
Experience with cutting and preparing fish/sashimi is a bonus!
Minor and historical convictions to be considered on a case by case basis.

- 7am - 2pm, Monday to Friday Minimum 30hrs p/w (30 hours per week)
