Junior Scaffolder

A Frankton scaffolding business is looking for a junior scaffolder for permanent full time work.
Your duties will be to erect and dismantle temporary metal scaffolding on structures and building sites. The majority of the work involved will be in renovations and factory shutdowns. You will need a high level of professionalism due to the nature of the companies that this business works with.
Other duties will include; - Checking for hazards - Loading and unloading trucks - regularly inspecting scaffolding for safety and identifying repairs as needed - general cleaning of the sites and workshop
This position will involve working at heights, in confined spaces and travel around the Waikato region. You will need to be comfortable and able to complete these tasks as needed to be successful in this role.
Job Requirements
You must be able to: - Pass a pre-employment drug test - Pass an MOJ check - Submit to regular drug & alcohol testing due to the nature of the work - Have reliable transport
It would be advantageous if you have the following tickets; - Working at Heights - Confined Spaces - First Aid Level 1
