A great opportunity is available now to help with the creating and packing up of the installation of all aspects of tradeshows electrical and lighting equipment for events and shows. Your duties will include accurate reporting and management of equipment used on each show to the relevant manager, removal of all aspects of tradeshow electrical and lighting equipment for events and shows, the preparation and de-rigging of equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Also, the implementation and participation in all aspects of company health and safety policies, and any reasonable request of your direct supervisor or manager. There will be some management and organisation of the warehouse including maintaining stock levels, checking equipment out and receiving inwards goods. Maintenance of standards in the workshop. Complete assigned Tasks within a timeframe. Installation of all rigging, staging, draping and lighting fixtures into various venues around NZ. Hours and days are variable according to jobs and tasks. Liaison with Account managers and clients to accurately plan for SLP Shows. The running of onsite crews for the smooth and efficient installation and removal of SLP Jobs. Repairs and Maintenance of electrical equipment including electrical testing to AS/NZS 3000-2007 Standards. First aid, Forklift and EWP Licenses preferred but not necessary.

Job Requirements

1- Full Class 1 Driver license in order to get to work 24/7, as well as driving the company vehicles. 2- The willingness and flexibility to work ANY day of the week and at various times of the day. 3- While 95% of your time will be in Auckland, you will have the willingness and flexibility to travel within NZ ( expensed paid) if required. 4- Previous experience in the events and exhibitions industry is required and that is to be noted on your CV. 5- Any Convictions are to be disclosed and will be considered case by case. 6- be drug free in order to pass pre-employment and random testing.

Days of work
To be available 7 days a week , various hours of the day. (40 hours per week)
Pay Details
$25 to $35 ph depending on previous exp.
