Class 2 driver
About this job
Employer looking for Class 2 drivers for a civil construction company. Will be driving to site with team members, loading and unloading the truck with cones, signs, barriers and any other equipment required. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance • Plan routes and meet delivery and site Setout schedules • Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures • Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions • Report defects, accidents, or violations. Experience in driving manual trucks but employer does have some automatic vehicles.
Job Requirements
Employer would prefer 1-2 years experience but not essential. Must pass a police check and a drugs test Must have a Full class 2
