Home Care Support Worker
About this job
Home Care Support Worker needed to assist caring for a lady with a spinal injury in her Kensington home. Care is needed every Tuesday from midday to 8pm, and once per month weekends 7am-12pm and 8pm-10pm. You will also be trained in all shifts which are 7am-12pm/12pm-8pm/8pm-10pm so you can be able to help cover shifts if available. No experience is required as full training will be given and there is ongoing training via Healthcare NZ to increase your hourly rate. There is another optional method of payment, which is to contract yourself to ACC (in this case you will be SELF EMPLOYED) and receive a flat hourly rate of $27.77 gross (tax included). Job Requirements
1- must be able to work the required hours as noted above, with some flexibility. 2- have own reliable transport to get to clients home in Kensington. 3- convictions to be disclosed and will be considered case by case. 4- have at least one recent contactable reference. 5- Be fit and healthy enough for lifting, so no bad backs please.
