Chinese Fast Food Cook
About this job
Local Chinese Restaurant looking for a Cook with knowledge cooking Szechuan style cuisine, Tender Beef with Oyster Sauce, Fried rice, Egg Fu Yeong, Choi Mein etc. Role will involve: Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment; Checking quality of ingredients; Collaborating with other kitchen staff to prepare food items during dining hour; Maintaining accurate food inventories and place orders when there are shortages; Properly storing food items at appropriate temperatures; Rotating stock items as per established procedures; Restocking kitchen for subsequent shifts; Ensuring that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift. The position may require performing additional tasks outside this list.
Job Requirements
Cooking experience as outlined in the job description Flexibility within the hours of 9AM and 9PM, Monday to Saturday - 30 hours per week approximately
