Superwide Digital Print Operator

City based employer is seeking a Digital Print Operator. Duties include: Loading print media onto media feed mechanisms. Setting, adjusting and monitoring substrate feed mechanisms, delivery mechanisms, inking systems and other printing machine functions. Monitoring, evaluating and determining press operations manually and by computer to check print quality standards against proofs and detect malfunctions. Monitoring machine operations and quality of print Transfer appropriate digital print files to printer if required. Trim printed material and perform in-house finishing as per instructions, either by Zund digital cutter or by hand when appropriate. Check printer status daily and report any issues Keep routine maintenance and cleaning up to date on devices as per maintenance schedule. Minimise material wastage Record print data for usage and wastage of materials.

Candidate must have at least one years of Superwide Digital Print experience. Specifically HP Latex and UV machines as well as fabric dye sublimation processes.
