Plumber's Assistant
About this job
The role will predominantly support the three waters contract, with a heavy focus on constructing new and upgrading old water mains however when capacity allows, the employee will be expected to assist the wider construction team in a range of activities including reinstatement of concrete, road preparation, drainage installation to list a few. Day-to-day: • Load and unload materials, tools and equipment and transporting them around work sites. • Help with the safe site setup for your crew and general public. • Lay, install, and maintain pipes, fixtures, water meters and regulators. • General operation of hand tools and machinery to prepare, clear and return work sites to its original state. • Reinstating concrete ensuring the work site is returned to its original state. • Work as part of a cohesive team to deliver to client expectations. Job Requirements
Class 1 - Car licence (T) - Tracks,(R) - Roller,(W) - Wheels (Special Type) Able to pass an MOJ check Drug free

- Monday – Friday schedule however depending on the project, occasional weekend, night, and away shifts may be required (40 hours per week)
