Store Operator

Your key responsibilities: • Undertake sampling, weighing, analysis and recording of barley arriving into the Store from grower suppliers, adhering to all procedures and specifications. • Ensure all directions, plans and procedures are followed in the unloading, storage, transfer and out-loading of raw materials at the Ashburton store. • Assist in barley seed receipt and storage after dressing. Help to prepare for dispatch to grower suppliers and complete transaction records. • Ensure the Ashburton cleaning schedule is maintained to ensure the site is in a clean tidy condition at all times. • Promote Health & Safety, following all safety rules and requirements. Conduct yourself in a safe and professional manner to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you. • Assist in the maintenance of records and tasks to ensure ongoing compliance with all Safety, Food Safety, Hygiene and Environment systems. • Support the Food Safety Project • Guaranteed pay schedule with overtime (40 hours @ $28 p/hour, 2 hours at time and a half ($42 p/hour), and 2 hours at double time ($56 p/hour)
