Assistant Manager
About this job
Assistant Manager position in Kerikeri to assist in organising and prioritising the daily operations of the business. Cash handling and other financial transactions Ensure quality food is maintained at all time. Assist in budgeting, menu pricing and controlling Managing stock and weekly inventory Ensure profit margins are met Recruit, hire and oversee training for staff Estimate food consumption, place order and liaising with suppliers to ensure inventory is up to date Maintain customer satisfaction and handling any complaints and queries Ensure safety and cleanliness policy followed by all staff ensure that kitchen team members comply with all applicable laws, regulations and policies related with licensing, employment, fire, hygiene and safety Assist in research and strategy development for the business promotions Come up with best ideas to boost sales during off season Try to build or cultivate customer loyalty among exiting and new customers.
Job Requirements
Candidates should have minimum 3 years relevant experience OR NZQA LEVEL 4 or higher qualification or Bachelor degree Background Criminal check is also required NZ or overseas driving license required
