Storeperson

Seeking a Storeperson for a retail store based in Papatoetoe. They sell retail and commercial crockery, utensils and appliances etc. We are and looking for a full–time assistant to be part of the team. This position requires working on weekends. You must be physically fit as this job requires lifting, up to 25kgs. You must be willing to load and unload goods and items, devan the container and drive a company van, so you must have a Full NZ driver licence. Duties will include advising customers on products, services, prices, etc. Selling the goods available in the store. Assisting in stocktake. Handle checkout by receiving cash and card payments, packing goods etc. Assisting in receiving deliveries and maintaining the layout of the store. Assisting the owners in the daily management and running of the store. Assisting in setting up displays, loading and unloading items, packing and unpacking items. You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours/week, 9.30am to 7pm rostered 7 days a week. Weekends are a must. Hours will be both Saturday and Sundays 7.5 hours a day - 15 hours on the weekend, and 5 hours x 3 days in the week.
