Assistant Manager - Retail

Onehunga based Retail store is looking for an Assistant Manager / Retail Supervisor. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in Retail industry with up to 2 years experience in a management position. Attributes and Duties include - * Provide excellent customer service through customer engagement and product knowledge and advice. * Act as a role model to improve store staff capability in customer service and sales techniques. * Support the store staff with customer complaints, escalating complaints to the Store Manager if necessary. * Assist the Store Manager to ensure the smooth running of the store by communicating with internal departments on product supply, orders, delivery arrivals etc. * Periodically manage the store during times when the Store Manager is absent, for example leave and non-working days. * Assist the Store Manager with store budgets, financial records, cash and payment systems in accordance with company policies and procedures. * Assist with the upkeep and condition of all store equipment, fixtures and fabric. * Assist with the management and maintenance of the IT and other essential in-store systems. * Must have minimum Restricted licence * Must pass Pre Employment Checks * Must have 3 years retail experience or Level 4 Business qualifications To apply, email your CV to padmaja.yellapantula001@msd.govt.nz asap.
