Checkout Operator
About this job
As a Cashier/Customer Services person you will provide excellent customer service with a smile, keeping your checkout area well presented. Be able to answer customer queries regarding products sold in the store. Some of the products sold in the store will require ID checks on regulated products. When you are on the checkout you will need to understand the scanning system, weigh products and bagging the purchased products. You will need to have a good eye on pricing ensure you have the right price, be familiar with using eftpos, ensuring correct change, receipts, and refunds are given to the customer. Maintain a record of transactions, counting and recording money received and balancing against register sales records, preparing money for deposit. Shelf filling is a daily requirement.
Job Requirements
Retail Customer Service. Good with Point of Sale and cash handling , understanding stock rotation.
