Dairy Farm Assistant

A Dairy Farm Assistant position is available on a dairy farm in the Roslyn Bush area ( approx 10 minutes from Invercargill). This is an entry level position, however training is not available. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing. These include - milking twice a day in a 50 bail rotary shed - shifting cows - feeding - fencing - weed control - calving - calf rearing - shed set up and cleaning - identifying sick cows and calves -general farm duties as required
Job Requirements
This is an entry level position. Restricted Class 1 licence and transport to get off farm. Must be able to pass a relevant Ministry of Justice Check and a pre employment drugs check. Self contained 1 bedroom accommodation is available @ $200 per week

- 40 hours per week. This will increase at peak times - eg calving (40 hours per week)
