Factory Hand / Bead Blast Operator

An East Tamaki based company manufacturing stainless steel products has an immediate vacancy for a Bead Blast Operator/ Factory Hand to undertake a wide range of tasks. Duties include Operation of Bead Blast Booth (blasting stainless steel components), loading and unloading items into booth and trucks, general factory duties like cleaning facilities, tidying and sweeping, assisting tradesmen including aciding/polishing, cleaning company cars, pick-ups and deliveries from suppliers and to clients and general maintenance work. Ideal for someone who wants to gain experience and get hands on exposure to a trade or someone looking for a change of environment. All training would be provided to work within the bead blast booth.

Job Requirements
Applicants should have a full driving license and/or forklift certificate would be an advantage but not essential. Those with restricted licence and ready to sit for full licence will also be considered. Health and Safety important part of work and will need to meet minimum requirements for protective gear and equipment adherence.
