A popular Italian restaurant in Takapuna is looking for a Bartender. You will be responsible for taking orders, checking customers' ID to ensure they are over 18, preparing cocktails and serving drinks, washing and polishing glasses, cleaning the bar and restaurant area. You will also manage inventory, order from suppliers, balance receipts and cash at the end of the day, monitor patrons to make sure they drink within the permitted areas and are not intoxicated, contribute to a pleasant atmosphere to ensure customers have a good experience. Job Requirements
The successful applicant will have a Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) and previous Bartending experience. You will also have strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanour to interact well with customers. You will be reliable, well-presented, and work well as part of a team. As this is an Italian Restaurant, the ability to speak Italian will be highly regarded. Must be able to pass a Drugs test and a Ministry of Justice check.
