Plumber's Assistant

Drainage Company based in Auckland is looking for a Plumber Assistant with 3 or more years experience to assist preparation on work site, install pipes, operate the digger and other equipment. Must have class 2 manual licence.
Job Requirements
1. Helping plumbers to set up the job sites and prepare the layouts. 2. Assisting in excavating trenches and digging holes to facilitate the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground piping systems as part of plumbing projects. 3. Assisting with installing and maintaining waste disposal underground sanitary drainage and water supply system. 4. Assisting with measure cut thread and bend pipes valves and fittings to required specification. 5. Cleaning and carrying out minor repairs on pipes drains and canals and checking for cracks and leaks in water supply and sewerage systems. 6. Ensure all installations repairs and maintenance are properly sized aligned supported and grade as required by the plumber. 7. Using equipment machinery & tools in a responsible & safe manner. 8. Clean work area maintain work tools and machines daily after the work is done.

- monday to friday and some saturdays (30 hours per week)
