Dairy Farm Assistant - Ferndale

Located Ferndale - 570 milking cows plus 250 young Stock on farm. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to; - Working collaboratively within our team under the guidance of the contract milker and 2ic. - Assisting with milking operations, including shed setup and getting cows in. - Conducting weed control activities such as spraying and chipping. - Monitoring animal health, including mastitis detection and identifying lame cows. - Setting up break fences to manage pasture rotation effectively. - Undertaking general farm maintenance tasks, including shed cleaning and fixing broken fencing. - Assisting in the relocation of effluent sprinklers and towing trailers as needed. You will be physically fit, have your own reliable transport and full licence. Shared accommodation on farm.
Must have updated CV with contactable references.
