Retail/Warehouse Supervisor

A Supervisor is needed in Lincoln to look after the production team in a warehousing environment. This is a varied role which includes forklift, machinery, and vehicle operation.

This role suits someone who has experience working in supervisory roles, enjoys working outdoors, and able to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities: • Supervising/managing production and work team, and dispatching orders accurately • Be able to work well under the manager's supervision and unsupervised • Picking orders for dispatch and preparing paperwork • Machinery maintenance under the manager's supervision • Operating a counterbalance forklift: loading and unloading trucks and moving pallets and wooden bin boxes, devanning containers, stacking bin boxes and pallets • Putting deliveries away & picking up customer orders • Providing excellent quality product • Physical work required - heavy lifting stacking crates and bags will be involved (20-25kg bags and crates)

You will need: • One year experience of supervising team and production orders • One year of experience driving a counterbalance forklift and working in a busy environment • Full Drivers Licence Class 1 with F endorsement OR Forklift Operator Certificate valid • Physically fit, strong and capable of some heavy lifting • Carry out the work with agility, speed and accuracy • Able to work in all weather conditions • Team player and able to take direction • Able to follow the Health & Safety protocols, specially related to driving a forklift • Able to work overtime and weekends when required • Good references from previous employers • Must have a clean slate criminal record • Able to pass on the drug and alcohol test
