Kitchenhand/ Deli Assistant

Our team are looking to fill the position of Deli Assistant/ Kitchenhand. This hands-on role will keep you busy preparing and presenting high quality fresh and cooked food items for sale. Including preparation, packaging, weighing, and labelling pre-ordered items for collection. In between assisting the Deli Manager and serving customers you will maintain a clean and hygienic environment to ensure the kitchen areas and food displays are cleaned and monitored in accordance with Food Safety regulations and standard operating procedures. Ideally you will have previous experience working in either grocery, retail or kitchen environment. Must have time management, accuracy and high attention to detail skills. Preference will be given to applicants who hold NZ Food Hygiene Qualifications.
