As a Support Worker you will be responsible for supporting our clients with various tasks, including household activities, daily personal cares, accessing community activities. Skills and attributes required: - Strong communication skills - Empathy - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deescalate challenging situations - A positive can-do attitude towards personal learning and development of new skills Preferred requirements: - Full drivers license - Experience in working with someone who has a disability and challenging behaviour. - Willing to work towards the NZQA Qualification What's in it for you? - $23.23 - $28.91 per hour depending on qualification - 24-hour support from our dedicated and friendly team - On-boarding, training and the opportunity to complete recognised NZQA qualifications.
Job Requirements
* Full drivers license as the successful candidate will be required to drive a mobility van. * Able to pass a police check. * The ability to understand Romanian would be highly advantageous as English is the clients second language.
