Dairy Farm Assistant

Gore based employer looking for a Farm Assistant. You are expected to work alongside the Contract Milker and other staff in: milk harvesting, maintaining the cleanliness of the sheds, operating and maintenance of the effluent system, monitoring pasture, crop and supplement management, monitoring stock feed, diagnosing animal ailments and conducting treatment, assisting in the erection and maintenance of fencing. Milking 530 cows, shed is rotary with 50 bail. Shared accommodation onsite. Be able to pass pre-employment drug test and police checks. Must have Full Class 1 licence and own transport. Must have updated CV with contactable references.
Job Requirements
As per Job Description. Can fulfil listed tasks. Physically fit, clean police and drug checks.
