Local Tyre company is seeking a Wheel and Tyre Technician to join their Whangarei team. A passion for the automotive industry is essential to succeed in this position You will be tasked to provide an outstanding customer experience by selling, fitting and servicing tyres, conducting wheel alignments, checking battery and oil levels and all other products offered, in a safe and courteous manner. You will conduct road testing in a safe manner and ensure that work is completed is safe prior to vehicles leaving the store. You will be physically fit as this is an “on the feet” physical role. You must have a clean Class 1 Full Licence, pass a drug test and have an excellent “can do” attitude. If you want to work, learn and progress we would like to talk to you.
Job Requirements
Experience is preferred but will train someone who shows the right attitude, is willing to take instruction and follow Health and Safety protocols. Must declare any criminal convictions and pass a drug test. Well presented and able to work in a team environment. Is reliable and has their own transport. Is contactable by phone and has an up-to-date CV with contactable referee’s. Full Class 1 Licence
