Dental Surgery Assistant
About this job
To provide clinical chairside assistance to the dentist when he/she is performing dental procedures, and to be responsible for dental surgery equipment and stock. Immediately before each appointment, the surgery is set up with the correct instruments, equipment, records, materials, and supplies for the following patient. The dentist’s instructions are followed, or the needs are anticipated during the procedure. Dental recording and charting are accurately completed. Instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilised, and set up ready for use according to the practice’s cross-infection control procedures, and used supplies are disposed of safely. The primary and secondary work zones of the dental surgery are cleaned and disinfected between patient. At the end of the day the surgery is cleaned, chair maintenance is completed, windows and blinds are closed and locked, equipment is turned off and the practice is locked.
Job Requirements
At least one year experience as Dental Surgery Assistant or any dental qualification is better but applicant without previous experience will be given on job training

- Monday to Saturday and 08.00 AM to 07.00 PM (30 hours per week)
