Construction Labourer

This job requires carrying and moving construction materials and tools around the site. Assisting in the setup and operation of tools and equipment required for construction work. Loading and unloading building and construction materials, tools and equipment and transporting them around building sites. Mixing, pouring and spreading materials such as concrete, plaster and mortar. Digging holes and shovelling excavated material onto conveyors, wheelbarrows and trucks for removal. Spreading and levelling soil, gravel and sand on roads and driveways, trench bottoms and similar locations. Cleaning and preparing the work site for construction activities. Assisting with the measuring and marking of building materials according to specifications. Providing support in the building and installation of frameworks, walls, roofs, and other structures. Assisting in the installation of windows, doors, and other fixtures. Following all health and safety policies and procedures. No formal qualification or work experience is required for this position, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. To be considered for this position, you must have: • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods • A willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions • Ability to take direction and follow instructions • Attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team • A minimum of a restricted licence and own reliable transport • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and police check.
