Factory Engineers - if you have experience as a motor mechanic or small motor mechanical or engineering experience or just love nothing better than working on vehicles or machinery this job may be for you. The role will include maintaining and optimizing the mechanical and electrical performance of factory machinery through innovation and continuous improvement and utilizing the preventative maintenance programme. This will include maintaining all conveyor belts, trio skinning machines, hydraulics and pumps to their optimum capacity, monitoring electrical systems and stainless steel repairs. The role will also include undertaking maintenance in the fishmeal plant and will involve assisting in the engine room when required. You will be working under the direction of the #1 Factory Engineer.

Job Requirements

Trip lengths on the vessels range from 4 to 6 weeks and crew operate on a trip on, trip off rotation. The hours of work are generally done in shifts of 12 hours on and 12 hours off, PPE is supplied, and all meals provided by our experienced cooks. You must be able to pass a medical and MOJ checks.
