Swimming Pool Technician

We are recruiting for the next Swimming Pool Technician.

We are in need of a Swimming Pool Technician to join our workforce. Your duty as a Swimming Pool Technician will be to make sure our clients' pools are kept immaculate throughout the year. The tasks will involve maintaining the water chemistry balance in the pool, cleaning the pool, vacuuming, brushing the tiles, cleaning the pool baskets, and clearing up any and all debris. As you gain skills and experience in this role you will progress into installing swimming pool equipment including pumps, filtration systems, sanitation systems and chemical handling. Company vehicle and tools will be provided in order for you to complete your duties as a Swimming Pool Technician.

Please note that training will be provided for this job - so no experience needed!

Must pass a Police Vetting Must pass a Drug Test Full Class 1 Licence Must be comfortable operating a Manual vehicle Must have reliable transport to get to the depot in Manukau Must be able to work unsupervised Must have a good command of English both written and spoken Must have excellent customer service/customer relationship skills Must be fit and able to lift and carry 20kg bags of filter media Must be willing to learn new skills and adapt, be tolerant of a variety of different age groups and cultures
