A restaurant in Nelson is seeking 2 Chef's to join their friendly team. Your duties will include planning the menu of the restaurant, adding dishes and revising the menu as per customer needs& demand in coordination with the management prepping and cooking, all sort of dishes ensure consistency in the preparation of all food items accordingly to the establishment recipe and standards managing food costing and inventory consistently monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation taking care of portioning food and presenting on plates delegate tasks to kitchen staff train them as per the requirement regulating temperatures of ovens grills and other cooking requirement's maintain standards for food storage rotation quality and appearance develop and plans the menu and daily specials. Job Requirements
To be successful in this role you must have: • preferable relevant experience of 1 year or level 4 equivalently qualifications • leadership skills • time management • Be able to work on weekends and evening shifts • Be a multi tasker • Have good attention to detail • The ability to pass a drug test • Criminal convictions are considered on a case by case basis
