Builder's Labourer

Mairehau: A local employer is currently seeking a Builder’s Labourer to join their busy team. The successful applicant will have previous experience in the industry, have an eye for detail, can follow plans and proudly stands by their workmanship and expertise. In this role you will build and construct timber structures and fittings; prepare and box-up hard surface areas, assist with loading and unloading of various materials from work vehicles. Assist co-workers with specific tasks - such as demolition, drainage installation, build retaining walls or as directed. Follow instructions from the foreman and be prepared. Clean up the worksite at the end of the day. The successful candidate will have practical skills. knowledge of basic building and construction methods and terms, knowledge of worksite safety rules knowledge of correct operation of manual and power tools and correct lifting techniques. Be physically fit, as this role can be physically demanding. Hold a full driver licence and knowledge of how to operate heavy machinery or drive heavy vehicles.

Candidates must hold a full clean driver licence and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
